Ian Thompson is an English Singer/Songwriter/Musician. He is originally from Liverpool, but has now settled into the Isle of Man with his wife Deborah. If you ever visit the Isle of Man, you can see one of his live shows, as he plays most weekends around the islands public bars, venues and private functions. He has enjoyed regular airplay over the years, on stations like BBC Radio Merseyside, BBC Radio Lancashire, Manx Radio, 3FM, and Energy FM, and international airplay, places like the USA, Australia, Italy, Holland, etc. Ian has been generously supported by the Manx Art’s Council on two of his albums New World and Mean Time which were both released by Spectra Music Group whom Ian has been signed to with a music licensing deal since March 2017. Ian Thompson and his band have also supported British chart toppers Scouting for Girls on May 30th, 2018.  Ian has worked with three excellent different producers here in the Isle of man – Simon Harvey , Phil Reynolds, and Gyp Buggane.  There have been quite a few of Ian’s single releases over the years, and one of those singles You’re My Liverpool regularly gets played at Liverpool Football Club‘s home matches on their tannoy, by the stadium announcer George Sephton.
